Information on the relevant legal bases in each individual case is provided in the following paragraphs of this privacy policy.

Recipients of personal data

In the course of our business activities, we work with various external parties. This sometimes requires the transfer of personal data to these external parties. We only disclose personal data to external parties if it is necessary for the performance of a contract, if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g., disclosure of data to tax authorities), if we have a legitimate interest in disclosure pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or if another legal basis permits the data transfer. When using contract processors, we only disclose our customers' personal data on the basis of a valid contract for contract processing. In the case of joint processing, a contract for joint processing will be concluded.

Revocation of your consent to data processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You can revoke consent already given at any time. The legality of data processing carried out up to the revocation shall remain unaffected by the revocation.

Right to object to data processing in specific cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)

If the data processing is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. e or f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. You can find the respective legal basis on which processing is based in this privacy policy. If you object, we will no longer process your affected personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims (objection pursuant to Art. 21 (1) GDPR).

IF YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OBJECT AT ANY TIME TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA FOR SUCH MARKETING; THIS ALSO APPLIES TO PROFILING WHEREVER IT IS ASSOCIATED WITH SUCH DIRECT MARKETING. IF YOU OBJECT, YOUR PERSONAL DATA WILL NO LONGER BE PROCESSED FOR DIRECT MARKETING PURPOSES (OBJECTION UNDER ART. 21 (2) GDPR).

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

The right to lodge a complaint is without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only take place if it is technically feasible.

Information, correction and deletion

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipient and the purpose of the data processing and, if necessary, a right to correction or deletion of this data at any time. You can contact us at any time if you have further questions on the subject of personal data.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. You can contact us at any time for this purpose. The right to restrict processing exists in the following cases:

  • If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you can request the restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data, but you require it for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of erasure.
  • If you have lodged an objection under Art. 21(1) GDPR, a balancing of your interests and ours must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, if your request relates to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR) if this has been requested; consent can be revoked at any time.

The data you send us via contact requests will remain with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g., after your request has been processed). 6. Newsletter

Newsletter Data

If you wish to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require your email address and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the provided email address and that you consent to receiving the newsletter. No other data will be collected, or only on a voluntary basis. We use newsletter service providers for the distribution of the newsletter, who are described below.

Brevo

This website uses Brevo for sending newsletters. The provider is Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany.

Brevo is a service that can be used to organize and analyze newsletter distribution, among other things. The data you enter for newsletter subscriptions is stored on the servers of Sendinblue GmbH in Germany.

Data Analysis by Brevo

With the help of Brevo, we can analyze our newsletter campaigns. For example, we can see if a newsletter message was opened and which links, if any, were clicked. This way, we can determine, among other things, which links were clicked particularly often.

Furthermore, we can see if certain predefined actions were performed after opening/clicking (conversion rate). For example, we can see if you made a purchase after clicking on the newsletter.

Brevo also allows us to segment („cluster“) newsletter recipients based on various categories. For example, newsletter recipients can be segmented by age, gender, or place of residence. This allows for better tailoring of newsletters to specific target groups.

If you do not want analysis by Brevo, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a corresponding link for this in every newsletter message.

Detailed information about Brevo's features can be found at the following link: https://www.brevo.com/de/newsletter-software/.

Legal basis

Data processing is carried out on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can withdraw this consent at any time. The lawfulness of the data processing operations that have already taken place remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

Storage duration

The data you provided to us for the purpose of subscribing to the newsletter will be stored by us until you unsubscribe from the newsletter, or by the newsletter service provider, and will be deleted from the newsletter distribution list after you unsubscribe. Data stored by us for other purposes remains unaffected by this.

After you are removed from the newsletter distribution list, your email address may be stored on a blacklist with us or the newsletter service provider if this is necessary to prevent future mailings. The data from the blacklist will only be used for this purpose and will not be merged with other data. This serves your interest as well as our interest in complying with legal requirements for sending newsletters (legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Storage on the blacklist is not limited in time. You can object to storage if your interests outweigh our legitimate interests.

For more information, please refer to Brevo's privacy policy at: https://www.brevo.com/de/datenschutz-uebersicht/ as well https://www.brevo.com/de/legal/privacypolicy/.

Content Delivery Networks are designed to download JavaScript libraries and host them on npm and GitHub servers. Alternatively, most CDNs can also load WordPress plugins if they are hosted on WordPress.org. Your browser may send personal data to the Content Delivery Network we use. This data includes information such as your IP address, browser type, browser version, the website being loaded, or the time and date of your visit. This data is collected and stored by the CDN. A CDN is a service that delivers content from our online offering, especially large media files such as graphics or scripts, faster via regionally distributed servers connected via the internet. Therefore, all requests relating to images are routed through the servers of our processors (fastpixel.io) and summarized in non-deactivable statistics. The collected raw data is usually deleted within 90 days, unless you request faster deletion.

We use the CDN service „FastPixel.“ The provider is Faster Web Solutions srl, Bucharest, Str. Transilvaniei nr.2, Camera 5, Bl.5, Ap.19, Sector 1, 010798, Romania (hereinafter referred to as „FastPixel”).
